Hiking + Backpack Training

Wild adventures reconnect, re-balance and revitalize us. They provide challenges while they inspire and empower us. Through immersive training, you will gain the experience and knowledge to safely and confidently enjoy your backpacking journeys. You will hone your skills hiking along the trail, setting up camp and spending starry nights in the wild. Come prepared to learn new skills, and gain confidence. You can expect a supportive environment with an experienced guide. Supplemental orientation and prep work for gear, nutrition, personal safety and hygiene may be via online or video components.

Led by Lisa Perez, these immersive trainings are suitable for all skill-levels, and the itinerary will be established based on the needs of the individual or group.

Choose a 2-day 1-night or 3-day 2-night adventure to amp up your backpacking and wilderness skillset. Or, choose an individual guided adventure that best suits your personal goals. Training on a specific topic is available to delve deeper into a particular back country skill. Beginners might choose a guided day hike as a first step to leaning on-trail basics.

These workshops are for women and adults that identify with a woman community.

The planning and itinerary were very well thought out, with multiple plan options depending on weather, conditions, and skill levels. It really felt like great care was taken to make sure that the experience would go as smoothly as possible because the details were taken care of, there was flexibility built in, and check-ins along the way.
