Gardens provide spaces to connect with nature, to inspire us, to explore, to create community and to find joy!
With a creative, collaborative approach, I research the site and listen carefully to what the land and client are saying. Choosing to plant a garden is a commitment to an evolving community of plants and nature. It is a small but powerful way to connect ourselves to the land through thoughtful stewardship and willingness to learn and adapt with the living world at our doorstep. We do not need to go far to experience wildlife and natural wonders!
Let me help you to create or care for your garden.

As a visual artist and designer, my pathway to becoming a RI Certified Horticulturist has been an organic route. I’ve had experience in a wide range of related fields working on an organic farm, volunteering with local environmental organizations as well as working with local landscape architects. I currently design, project manage and maintain gardens across Rhode Island. I have created designs from everything from mini urban meadows and pollinator gardens, to larger native-focused, biodiversity sensitive landscapes. I also design natural stone elements, and features that support wildlife and expand the overall design aesthetic for a particular site. I am also a certified drone pilot (FAA Part 107) and provide aerial photograph services for clients and partner landscape architects.
With many miles spent hiking on long trails in the region as well as on the west coast, I’ve honed my focus on the importance of spaces conserved and created for wildlife and wild ecology to thrive. It is in our own micro habitats that we can take this approach to planting and allowing nature to expand and nourish us as well as our more than human neighbors.
